New Items for saleI have been working hard on producing the range of bears and animals featured on this website but I did find time to work for the first time on wool felting of heads. The first example is Frank - Item 5 on the Animal Land page. I am pleased with the outcome and intend to conduct more experiments with this technique in the future. Shop NewsThe limited edition of 'Robbie Burns' bears which were made for Silly Bears of Aberdeen has sold out. One was featured on the front cover of the January edition of Teddy Bear Club International. Since then, I was commissioned to produce a limited edition of a shop bear - Lady Silly and this also sold out. Further plans to produce more bears and to attend a signing at the shop with Gregory Gyllenship, next year. Payment MethodAlso a reminder to anyone who does not know that I have joined PayPal and accept it as as my preferred payment method. This will still allow me to accept credit cards and more importantly will allow any customer to pay me in either £sterling or US dollars. This is particularly beneficial for US customers as they can pay me in US dollars without incurring currency exchange costs. Previously, I could only accept credit card payments in £sterling and this would incur currency charges for overseas customers. Also it is a much more secure way of paying by credit/debit card.
